Reading Time: 2 minutes

Interested in walking with someone on their post-incarceration journey? Right now, we are seeking volunteers for our No One Leaves Alone (NOLA) Reintegration Project. Attending NOLA training is often the first step in becoming a volunteer, and it’s a great way to learn more about the program.

Because we can’t meet in person right now, we have moved NOLA training online. The next session starts May 26.

About Volunteering with NOLA

In NOLA, volunteers work as a team, along with a Case Manager, to help program members successfully transition from incarceration back into the community. By providing mentorship, accountability, and emotional support, volunteers help empower men and women to take control of their lives and be positive influences in their communities.

We seek volunteers who are grounded, enthusiastic, and have compassion for people who are often overlooked by society. Because the program delivers long-term support, we ask that volunteers commit to at least one year.

NOLA Training: Now ONLINE

Online NOLA training includes three one-hour Zoom sessions. Each session features dynamic teaching, informative slides, and time for discussion and questions. In addition, there are two video clips that you can watch after Sessions 2 and 3.
