Thank you to the John Volken Foundation for recognizing our organization with the John and Chawna Volken Humanitarian Award. The award includes a $20,000 grant that will help support our programs, including our No One Leaves Alone (NOLA) community reintegration program.

The award has been created to recognize non-profit organizations working to create sustainable change in people’s lives. Each year, the award intends to donate $1 million to charities that are making a difference in areas such as mental health, addiction, education, and humanitarian aid.

At M2/W2, we believe that providing consistent mentorship and improving access to employment and education resources, affordable housing, and mental health services can help people transition successfully from incarceration to everyday life.

With this award, we’ll be able to reach more folks in prison and on parole and connect them with the resources and relationships they need to find stability in the community.

Thank you to John and Chawna Volken and everyone working with them to build up local communities and support programs that help change lives. We are so grateful to receive this award!
