By offering friendship and practical support to those in prison and on parole, we are sharing God’s love with people in need. I’m so thankful we can do this together, and honour God with our time and energy. His love for us is unmatched!
When David asked Israel to help build the temple, the people responded generously. As they rejoiced together, David led his people in prayer, saying, “Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendour, for everything in heaven and earth is yours.”
God’s majesty and greatness mean our efforts are worthwhile. We are part of something bigger than ourselves, and that is inspiring! Also inspiring is the opportunity to serve alongside you. Your willingness to volunteer your time and donate your finances to help others brings me so much joy.
