Register for our Volunteer Training on November 8th
Volunteers are at the Heart of Mentoring
Volunteers can serve in one of four areas:
- 
      
        
          
        
      
      Mentor individuals inside correctional institutions. - Volunteers at federal institutions need to complete Correctional Services Canada (CSC) application forms, fingerprinting, and CSC training. 
- Volunteers at provincial institutions need to complete a Criminal Record Check and prison orientation. 
 
- 
      
        
      
      Support community reintegration for formerly incarcerated persons. Volunteers in our NOLA community reintegration program must watch a 45-minute video and complete a short test. After completing the volunteer application process, we will send you a link to the video and test. 
- 
      
        
      
      Help out in the store, working alongside persons on parole or work release. 
- 
      
        
      
      Lend your skills to our new mechanical/woodworking training hub. 
In addition to filling out an application form, you will need to complete:
- A volunteer interview 
- Statement of Confidentiality 
- Two personal reference checks 
- Submit a criminal record check 
- Agree to our Statement of Faith
