First West Foundation has awarded us a $20,000 grant from the Envision Financial Community Endowment. Thank you, First West!

This funding helps us run our No One Leaves Alone (NOLA) community reintegration program. Through NOLA, our staff and volunteers offer post-prison support and mentoring in five key areas: housing, health, employment, education, and relationships.

By focusing on specific, practical needs identified by the participants themselves, NOLA empowers people to build capacity as they navigate the uncertainty of life after prison. Our team of staff and over 30 volunteers meets people wherever they are and walks with them as they set goals and rebuild their lives without crime.

“We’re thrilled to have First West Foundation partner with us again,” said M2W2 Program Director Glenn Burchart. “These funds will help us connect people on parole with the resources and relationships they need to find success in the community.”

Thanks to the continued generosity of our donors — including First West Foundation — NOLA has provided practical support to over 112 participants since last April.

First West Foundation has awarded grants to M2W2 in the past, both last year and in 2021. Since 1996, the foundation has donated over $9 million in grants to local community groups and projects.
